1. Notice that some of the popular searched items are conveniently located in the "directory" on the home page. Just click one of those words (i.e. Equipment) to do a key word search on that topic. Just click and go! 2. When you click on a category name on the home page (like in the above example) it is the equivalent of typing in the word "equipment" and clicking search. It's just faster to click than type. Plus we've done the thinking for you (for the most common search terms). 3. When doing key word searches, the default is "or". This means nothing if you only type in one word like "AQHA". But, if you type in multiple key words like "Texas AQHA News" then this broad search will list sites which contain the word "News" or "Texas" or "AQHA" . Get the idea? An "or" search is the most broad search, thereby yielding the greatest number of results.

4. To narrow your search (to get more specific), type in several key words, (i.e. "texas aqha news") and select the button labeled "and". Now QuarterHorseGuide will list only sites that contain the words "texas" and "aqha" and "news". You'll obviously get less listings back in your results, but they're more likely to be exactly what you're looking for. Get it? 5. Oh. Another thing. Notice that when you click on a website, that website opens up in a second "browser window". This is a great feature because QuarterHorseGuide will still be open on your desktop. If the new site isn't what you want, or when you get finished, just close (or minimize) its browser window, and go back to the QuarterHorseGuide window and select a new site! 6.
